Make this easy air fryer salmon for a quick, healthy weeknight dinner. You get a crispy exterior and a juicy, flaky interior every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This step helps achieve a crispy exterior.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Lightly brush the air fryer basket with olive oil or spray with cooking spray.
  6. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
  7. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately for your best air fryer salmon dinner.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down first and cook for 8 minutes before flipping for the last 2-4 minutes.
  • If your fillets are very thick (over 1.5 inches), you may need to increase the cook time by 1-2 minutes.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked salmon before serving for added brightness.
