  • 4 (6-ounce) boneless pork chops
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of the pork chops with Dijon mustard.
  4. Press each pork chop into the Parmesan-panko mixture, ensuring it is evenly coated on both sides.
  5. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Sear the pork chops for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare, or your desired doneness.
  9. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
