Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon slices, for garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for simple cleanup.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet, making sure to coat the surface well.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and chopped parsley before serving immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, roast vegetables like asparagus or broccoli on the same sheet pan alongside the salmon.
If you prefer a slightly sweeter glaze, add 1 teaspoon of honey to the butter mixture. This is a great alternative to some keto meal plan delivery options for flavor.
To check for doneness without a thermometer, gently press the thickest part of the fillet; it should separate easily into flakes.
