Make these easy baked Buffalo Chicken Sliders for your next gathering. They feature juicy shredded chicken tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, layered with cheese on soft Hawaiian rolls, and topped with a savory garlic butter mixture before baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12 count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce (use your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is fully coated.
  3. Slice the package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected if possible. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken mixture.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley to create the garlic butter topping.
  7. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  8. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown and heated through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing between the rolls to serve as individual sliders.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the chicken mixture.
  • If you prefer a tangier flavor, substitute half of the ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing.
  • These sliders are excellent game day food ideas and disappear quickly at parties.
