Make a complete, flavorful dinner with this simple one-pan recipe featuring tender chicken breasts coated in Caesar flavors and roasted alongside fresh asparagus.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lemon, sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the Caesar coating.
  3. Place the chicken breasts on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Brush half of the Caesar coating mixture evenly over the tops of the chicken.
  4. Place the trimmed asparagus spears on the other side of the baking sheet. Drizzle the remaining Caesar coating mixture over the asparagus and toss gently to coat.
  5. Arrange the thin lemon slices over the chicken breasts.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the asparagus is tender-crisp.
  7. Serve immediately. You can squeeze extra fresh lemon juice over the dish before serving if you like.

Notes

  • For a stronger Caesar flavor, add 1 teaspoon of anchovy paste to the coating mixture.
  • If you prefer grilling, cook the chicken over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side, then grill the asparagus separately in a grill basket for 5-7 minutes.
  • This dish is naturally low carb and fits well into a Keto Caesar Chicken and Veggies meal plan.
