1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian seasoning
0.5 tsp garlic powder
0.5 tsp onion powder
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp black pepper
1 (7 oz) jar sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
0.5 cup heavy cream
0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
Instructions
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season them with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer the seared chicken to your slow cooker.
Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and minced garlic to the slow cooker.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
