Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
8 ounces lump crab meat, drained and picked over
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie plate or a small oven-safe baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until the base is smooth.
Add the Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Gently fold in the drained lump crab meat. Be careful not to break up the crab pieces too much; you want some texture remaining.
Spread the crab mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Serve your warm cheesy crab dip immediately with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
For the most authentic flavor, use good quality lump crab meat.
If you prefer a slightly tangier dip, substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
To make this a baked seafood dip that holds heat longer, transfer the mixture to a small slow cooker set to the ‘Keep Warm’ setting after mixing.
