Make this easy, cheesy lasagna casserole using frozen cheese ravioli for a quick weeknight dinner that requires minimal prep work.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (24 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce, water, and Italian seasoning. Stir until mixed.
  3. Pour half of the sauce mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  5. Spoon half of the remaining sauce mixture over the ravioli layer.
  6. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  7. Repeat the layers: remaining ravioli, remaining sauce, and remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the top layer.
  9. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Let the lasagna rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a heartier meal, brown 1 pound of ground beef and mix it into the marinara sauce before layering.
  • You can substitute ricotta cheese for some of the mozzarella if you prefer a creamier texture.
  • This recipe works well for meal planning; cover and refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
