Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
1/4 cup pickle juice
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add the sour cream and mayonnaise to the bowl. Mix until completely combined and creamy.
Stir in the chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Taste the dip and add more pickle juice or salt if you prefer a tangier flavor.
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese, if using. Serve this crowd pleasing party food with chips, crackers, or vegetables.
Notes
For an extra layer of flavor, use a combination of cream cheese and softened goat cheese.
If you want a thicker dip, drain the chopped pickles very well before adding them to the mixture.
This dip tastes best after chilling for one hour, but you can serve it immediately if you need a quick savory snack.
