A quick and easy compound butter with roasted garlic, herbs, and lemon for steak, chicken, or vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, roasted garlic, parsley, chives, rosemary, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mash the roasted garlic with a fork and mix all ingredients together until well combined.
  3. You can serve immediately or roll into a log using parchment paper or plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate until firm.
