  • 1 (3-4 pound) boneless pork shoulder roast
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 (1 ounce) packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers, with liquid

Instructions

  1. Place the pork roast in your slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the ranch dressing mix, au jus gravy mix, and water.
  3. Pour the mixture over the pork roast.
  4. Add the butter and pepperoncini peppers to the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the pork is tender and shreds easily.
  6. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the juices.
  8. Serve hot.
