A quick and easy sweet and salty bark with crunchy pretzels and your choice of mix-ins, perfect for holiday gifts or cookie trays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips using a microwave or a double boiler until smooth. If microwaving, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted.
  3. Spread the melted white chocolate evenly onto the prepared baking sheet to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Immediately sprinkle the crushed pretzels, chopped pistachios, and dried cranberries over the melted chocolate.
  5. Gently press the toppings into the chocolate to help them adhere.
  6. Let the bark set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, until firm.
  7. Once set, break the bark into pieces.

Notes

  • For a glossy finish, ensure your white chocolate is tempered correctly or use high-quality melting wafers.
  • You can substitute cranberries with chopped candy canes for a festive holiday flavor.
  • Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
