1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, sour cream
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Warm tortillas slightly in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
Spoon the chicken mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the chicken.
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll up tightly from the bottom to create a wrap.
Optional: Place wraps seam-side down in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted. Alternatively, cook in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway.
Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For meal prep, cook the chicken mixture and assemble the wraps without toasting. Store assembled wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or air fryer before serving.
You can substitute other cheeses like Monterey Jack or pepper jack for extra flavor.
Add a splash of chicken broth or water to the skillet if the chicken mixture seems dry.
