A simple recipe for creamy, flavorful garlic aioli that enhances sandwiches, vegetables, and seafood.

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil and vegetable oil, whisking constantly, until the mixture emulsifies and thickens into a creamy sauce.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to your liking.
