Make juicy, garlicky steak bites at home, just like Texas Roadhouse. This quick recipe uses sirloin tips seared in a cast iron skillet, perfect for an appetizer or weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add steak cubes in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Work in batches if necessary.
  4. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and cayenne pepper (if using).
  7. Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Stir in fresh parsley.
  9. Serve immediately.
